Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing effective lesson plans that engage students and foster a love for Spanish and French languages
- Providing engaging and interactive classroom instruction that caters to different learning styles
- Assessing student performance and progress through regular testing and evaluations
- Providing constructive feedback to students to support their language development
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies
- Participating in school events and activities, including parent-teacher meetings and extracurricular programs
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance and academic performance
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in education or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience teaching Spanish and French languages in a secondary school setting
- Excellent command of the Spanish and French languages, both written and spoken
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- A passion for teaching and a dedication to student success
- Up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum requirements and teaching techniques in the Spanish and French language fields
