Ideal Recruit is currently seeking a Mechanic / Garage Assistant to join our esteemed client's team in Walkden.
In this role, you will :
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and trailers to VOSA standard.
- Diagnose and resolve various types of faults.
- Assist disabled vehicles at roadside or customer premises.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to procure parts and maintain stock levels.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.
- Uphold a high standard of cleanliness and organization within the garage.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge through ongoing training opportunities.
