RoleOverview
We are seeking a dynamicand experienced Head of Operations and People to join our team inOxford. This pivotal role will involve overseeing the daytodayoperations of The Project PT ensuring smoothand efficient business processes and directly supporting the ownersin achieving strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will be aproactive leader with a strong operational background excellentorganisational skills a passion for fostering a positive andproductive work environment and a desire to create change in thefitness industry.
KeyResponsibilities
- OperationalManagement : Oversee daily operations in our gymsholiday camps and social impact to ensure the business runsefficiently and effectively.
- TeamLeadership : Manage and support a team of managersand coaches fostering a work culture that incorporates kindnessinclusivity community andimpact.
- StrategicPlanning : Collaborate with the owners to develop andimplement operational strategies aligned with the companys missionand goals.
- CustomerExperience : Ensure a consistently high level ofcustomer service and satisfaction addressing client feedback andimplementing improvements asneeded.
- FinancialOversight :
Monitor and manage budgets expenses andfinancial performance providing regular reports to theowners.
- ProcessImprovement : Identify opportunities for processenhancements and operational efficiencies implementing bestpractices across all areas of thebusiness.
- Compliance andSafety : Ensure compliance with all relevant healthand safety regulations maintaining a safe and welcoming environmentfor both staff andclients.
- ProjectManagement : Lead and manage special projectsinitiatives and events that support the companys growth andcommunityengagement.
Qualifications
- Experience :
Minimum of 5 years in an operational management role you could becoming from a background in the fitness health or wellnessindustries but we would also welcome applications from a range ofsectors including hospitality andlifestyle
- LeadershipSkills : Proven ability to lead motivate and developa team with strong interpersonal and communicationskills.
- OrganisationalSkills : Exceptional organisational and multitaskingabilities with a keen eye fordetail.
- FinancialAcumen : Solid understanding of financial managementbudgeting andreporting.
- ProblemSolving : Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to thinkstrategically with initiative and make sounddecisions.
- CustomerFocus : Dedication to providing excellent customerservice and enhancing the clientexperience.
- Passion for Healthand Fitness : A genuine interest in health fitnessand wellbeing aligning with The Project PTs mission and corevalues.
- Flexibility :
This role can require shift work and studio cover and getting stuckin where requiredto
