Job description
Reporting to the CTO for the brand, the Technical Business Analyst Insurance, will be providing critical support to IT change initiatives across the brand.
You will be responsible for :
- Collaborating with business users to define and analyze accurate, consistent, and complete requirements aligned with business outcomes.
- Prioritizing and managing requirements with business stakeholders and the change team using Azure DevOps.
- Work with business users and IT teams to deliver the change agenda and support business processes.
- Gain expertise in existing IT applications and a detailed understanding of data flow through business processes.
- Develop technical and functional specifications, support testing,
and manage defects, including delivering user training as required
The successful applicant will have :
Essential :
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (ideally at C-suite level)
- Experience defining user stories, managing backlogs, and sprints
- Proficient in relationship-building and adapting to diverse stakeholders
- Skilled in documenting business requirements across various systems
- Strong problem-solving with innovative approaches
- Expertise in SQL Server, including TSQL and database design
- Basic knowledge of software development principles
- Familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience across the full project lifecycle
- Experience with outsourced and offshore IT teams, and documentation tools
Desirable :
- Knowledge of insurance industry and systems and / or regulated environments (e.g., GDPR)
- Two+ years as a business analyst
- Experience with Citrix environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft Business Apps (Dynamics, Power Platform)
- Experience with Power BI or similar data tools
- Knowledge of SSRS and SSIS
- Experience with cloud solutions like Azure
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps or similar platforms
- Experience in MS.Net development
