Overview
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Global Marketing Director will lead the development and implementation of the global communication strategy for all brand initiatives ensuring that each market has the necessary tools to create compelling comms programs and materials to support brand initiatives and launches.
Overseeing all marketing areas, including Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing (Social and CRM), Wholesale and Retail, and Media.
The role requires a deep understanding of Stella McCartney’s brand and customer mindset and a creative and innovative marketer who can execute across a variety of channels while driving long-term strategies and building brand equity.
Your Mission :
Oversee Global Marketing strategy to increase brand exposure.
Develop and execute annual, seasonal and monthly marketing strategies for Stella McCartney in line with the brands mission.
This includes marketing concept, goals and objectives, creative briefs, through to timelines, budgets and execution.
Set and grow brand strategy, partnerships and a community of social content for Stella McCartney Worldwide.
Strategize and work cross functionally to activate initiatives that connect the instore and digital experience to advance Omni experience for customers, working to bring the best of both worlds together for a better Stella McCartney brand story.
Collaborate and partner with both Events and the Global PR team to ensure Global synergy to enhance the overall brand image.
Develop and drive the performance of Wholesale and Retail Marketing,
Media, Digital and brand marketing as well encourage employee growth and retention.
Develop strategies to deliver and evaluate relevant data / analytics to ensure campaigns are tracked and optimised at all times.
Plan and optimise the global social content calendar, working closely with all markets.
Work closely with relevant global and local teams to ensure localising campaigns and messages are done effectively.
Overseeing and supporting CRM with the implementation of modern systems and strategy.
Work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to ensure marketing activities provide a return on investment.
Optimise internal knowledge and data to drive engaging, creative outputs that market the agencies knowledge.
Set benchmark goals and KPIs,
create monthly and quarterly reporting on how we are tracking, and advise on ways to optimize.
Ensure effective people management within the marketing team considering succession planning.
Ensure that all teams within the department work collaboratively in line with the global pillar teams.
Ensure all campaigns are forecast correctly and delivered within budget.
Your Talent :
Previous experience in creating and implementing a global marketing strategy at a senior management level.
Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
Analytical with a strong KPI and ROI mindset
Being a true creative, store telling and understanding how to shape messages.
Multichannel digital marketing background.
Proven track record running successful large marketing and communications teams.
Proven background delivering results in a commercial environment.
Deep understanding of social media and online marketing.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to successfully manage, develop and inspire a team.
Strong interpersonal skills, proactive ability and gravitas to maintain relationships and to influence and persuade others.
Exceptional understanding of the luxury fashion industry and the retail business.
