Accounts Senior Regional Firm Brighton

Location : Brighton

Salary : £38,000 - £45,000

Numero Recruitment are currently working with one of the region’s leading accountancy practices in Brighton who are looking to strengthen their team by recruiting an experienced Accounts Senior.

As an Accounts Senior you will be servicing a mixed client portfolio and reporting directly to the Senior management team.

The Role :

- Assists in the preparation of statutory accounts for companies, partnerships and sole traders to review stage.
- Assists in the preparation of management accounts and VAT returns.






- Works within budgets set at the planning stage; understands the importance of the budgets and communicates effectively to ensure these are met.
- Working with other team members to ensure an efficient and pro-active service is provided to clients.
- Ensures the efficient use of appropriate software packages internally and supporting clients’ accounting systems
- Drafting tax computations
- Preparing VAT returns, while providing a hands-on compliance role.

Requirements :

- ACA or ACCA Qualified or Qualified by experience
- Recent experience within an accountancy practice
