About the Role :
- You will be responsible for the planning, delivery, and assessment of Design & Technology across the curriculum, inspiring creativity, problem-solving skills, and a love for design and making in students of all ages.
- You will play a key role in shaping the Design & Technology curriculum, ensuring it aligns with national standards and prepares students for further study or careers in design-related fields.
- You will contribute to a dynamic and supportive Design & Technology department, collaborating with colleagues to deliver outstanding educational experiences.
- You will benefit from well-equipped workshops and resources, and a commitment to professional development opportunities.
The Person We Seek :
- A qualified teacher with a proven track record of success in Design & Technology, particularly at the secondary level.
- A passion for the subject with a broad knowledge of design principles and techniques across various materials.
- The ability to develop engaging and innovative lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and encourage hands-on exploration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for boys.
- The ability to motivate and challenge students to achieve their academic and creative potential.
