Music Teacher Opportunity Croydon Secondary School
Dear esteemed Music Educator,
We are currently partnering with an outstanding secondary school in Croydon, South London, that is seeking a passionate and experienced Music Teacher to join their dedicated team starting this September.
This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a competitive salary aligned with the MPS / UPS scale (M1 to UPS3).
The Role :
This is a unique opportunity to inspire and nurture a love for music in students across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.
The successful candidate will have the chance to shape a dynamic and engaging music curriculum, fostering creativity and musical expression in a vibrant learning environment.
Responsibilities :
- Design and deliver inspiring music lessons across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5
- Develop and implement innovative lesson plans in line with the school's curriculum objectives
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate learning and development
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall effectiveness of the music department
- Remain informed of the latest pedagogical approaches and advancements in music education
Qualifications and Experience :
- A relevant degree in Music or a related discipline
- PGCE or QTS qualification
- Demonstrated experience teaching music to secondary school students
- A commitment to fostering a love for music and promoting musical talent
