Job description
Our client is a risk management consultancy, which has established strong relationships with corporate organisations for over 30 years.
There is a significant focus on the energy sector, where independent advice is provided on a range of subjects, including- risk management, insurance programmes, complex claims negotiations and major finance deals.
This is an opportunity for the appointee to work with owners, operators and contractors within oil & gas, sustainable energy, utilities and pharmaceuticals sectors.
There will be an emphasis on delivering risk management products and services via bespoke delivery models.
The main areas of responsibility include;-
Relationship Management.
Risk Management
Day to day service delivery
Cross team initiatives
Candidate Requirements;-
Proven ability to communicate across all levels (up to an including Group Treasurer / CFO / CEO)
Experience in managing and running bid processes
The candidate should be numerate, with ability to analyse and manipulate large volumes of data through use of Excel.
Excellent analytical and presentation skills, particularly in collation and presentation of exposure and risk profile information
Ability to review, understand and amend contract documents
Strong organisational skills to manage workflows, collate information and track progress.
Strong communicational (and in particular written) skills.Industry experience in oil & gas, utilities infrastructure and / or similar capital intense, complex risk sectors.
Willingness to work under pressure and with flexibility to meet client needs.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Participate in a team environment, both internally and externally with clients.
Professional qualifications (Cii or equivalent) and a degree preferred.
