PositionOverview :
The successful candidatewill have the opportunity to contribute to the schools dynamicGeography department inspiring the next generation of passionateindividuals.
The role entails fostering a love for thinking instudents equipping them with essential skills for the modernage.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Design and deliver engaging and rigorous Geographylessons aligned with the national curriculum and schoolseducational goals across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotesstudent curiosity problemsolving and collaboration.
- Assess and monitor student progress providingconstructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within theGeography department and across the school to enhance the learningexperience.
- Stay abreast of currentpedagogical approaches and developments in the field ofGeography.
Qualificationsand Experience :
- ABachelors degree or higher in Geography or a relatedfield.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or anequivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Geography at thesecondary level.
