Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are currently seeking a Year 1 teacher to join our welcoming and vibrant primary school in Barking starting January 2025.

We are looking for a Year 1 teacher who can bring lessons to life, foster creativity, and guide our students as they take their first steps in their educational journey.
About the Role :
- Position : Full-Time Year 1 Teacher
- Location : Barking
- Start Date : January 2025

- An inspiring Year 1 teacher who can deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of Year 1 learners.
- Someone who is passionate about developing literacy and numeracy skills through interactive and creative teaching methods, suitable for a Year 1 classroom.
- A teacher who is committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging Year 1 environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- An individual who can manage behaviour effectively in a Year 1 setting and work collaboratively with other staff members to enhance the overall learning experience for children.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons following the Key Stage 1 curriculum,
focusing on building strong foundations for Year 1 pupils in reading, writing, and numeracy.
- Promote the social and emotional development of each Year 1 child, encouraging them to build confidence, form friendships, and develop a love for learning.
- Assess and track Year 1 pupils’ progress, tailoring your teaching approach to meet individual needs and ensuring each child reaches their full potential.
- Work closely with parents and carers, providing regular feedback and updates on their Year 1 child’s achievements and areas for development.
