PositionOverview
The successful candidatewill play a vital role in delivering a comprehensive and engagingScience curriculum to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with thepossibility of teaching at Key Stage 5.
The role entails fosteringa stimulating and inquirybased learning environment that encouragescritical thinking scientific curiosity and a deep understanding ofthe scientific world.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Designand deliver captivating Science lessons that align with thenational curriculum and the schools educationalphilosophy.
- Create a dynamic classroomatmosphere that promotes student engagement participation and alove for science.
- Assess and monitor studentprogress providing constructive feedback to facilitate individualgrowth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagueswithin the Science department and across the school to enrich thelearning experience.
- Stay abreast of currentpedagogical approaches and developments in Scienceeducation.
Qualificationsand Experience :
- ABachelors degree or higher in a Sciencerelated field (BiologyChemistry Physics or GeneralScience).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or anequivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstratedexperience teaching Science at the secondarylevel.
