This fulltimepermanent position offers the chance to shape and inspire the nextgeneration of business leaders and economicthinkers.
PositionOverview
The successful candidatewill be responsible for providing strategic leadership and visionfor the Economics and Business Department ensuring the delivery ofa rigorous and engaging curriculum that fosters critical thinkinganalytical skills and a passion for thesubjects.
KeyResponsibilities
- Leadand manage the Economics and Business Department providingmentorship and support to colleagues.
- Developand implement a challenging and innovative curriculum that meetsthe needs of all students across Key Stages 3 4 and5.
- Ensure the effective delivery of teachingand learning promoting high standards of academicachievement.
- Oversee the assessment andtracking of student progress providing constructive feedback andsupport.
- Foster a collaborative and supportivelearning environment within thedepartment.
- Contribute to the schools wideracademic and cocurricularprograms.
Qualificationsand Experience :
- ABachelors degree or higher in Economics Business or a relatedfield.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or anequivalent teaching qualification.
- Significantexperience teaching Economics and Business at the secondary levelincluding ALevel or equivalent.
- Provenleadership and management experience within an educationalsetting.
