About the Role :
- Design and deliver engaging and informative Design Technology lessons across all year groups,
adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of design, creativity, and practical skills.
- Guide students in developing their design and problem-solving abilities, as well as their technical skills.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, and beyond).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Design Technology department and contribute to school-wide events.
The Ideal Candidate :
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Design Technology or a closely related subject.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for design and technology, with a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management within a diverse learning environment.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
- Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being.
