We are delighted topresent an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experiencedHistory Teacher to join a highly successful and wellresourceddepartment at a prestigious Secondary School in SouthLondon.

They areseeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher who can inspireand motivate students to achieve their fullpotential.
About theRole
The successful candidate willbe a qualified History Teacher with experience teaching KS3 / 4 and5.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of thecurriculum and a passion for bringing history to life for students.
They will also be able to demonstrate excellent communication andinterpersonalskills.
Responsibilities
- Deliverhighquality History lessons to KS3 / 4 and 5pupils
- Develop and implement engaging andeffective teaching resources
- Workcollaboratively with other History teachers to ensure consistentand highquality teaching
- Assess and trackstudent progress to ensure that all students are making goodprogress
- Support students in their academic andpersonal development
- Contribute to the widerschoolcommunity
QualificationsandExperience
- QualifiedHistory Teacher (QTS or PGCE)
- Experienceteaching KS3 / 4 and 5 History
- Strongunderstanding of the History curriculum
- Passionfor History and the ability to bring it to life forstudents
- Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills
- Ability to workcollaboratively with others
- Commitment toproviding all students with the opportunity tosucceed
Salary
Thesalary for this History Teacher position will be paid to scaleMPS / UPS.
