Music Teacher Sought for Reputable Secondary School in Lambeth
We are delighted to partner with a highly-regarded secondary school in Lambeth that is seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join their thriving Music department.
This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to inspire and nurture the next generation of musicians.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and engaging music curriculum to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
The role entails fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, musical expression, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and deliver inspiring music lessons that align with the national curriculum and the school's educational ethos.
- Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement, participation, and performance.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth and development.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Music department and across the school to enrich the musical experience for all students.
- Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in music education.
Qualifications and Experience :
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Music or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Music at the secondary level.
