Night Shift Painter Decorator - Central London
Department : Property Operations & Maintenance
The Langham, London; Europe’s first Grand Hotel and Forbes 5* rated property, is currently recruiting for a Night Shift Painter / Decorator to join our talented Engineering team.
We are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.
In the role of a Night Shift Painter / Decorator, your key focus will be to :
- be responsible for the effective maintenance and decor within the hotels guest related and back of house areas
- carry out repairs to paint and fabric of the hotel
- decorate various items used within the hotel on service of decorative basis i.e.
Showcase display boards, picture frames, etc
- be responsible for the cleanliness of the workshop and areas maintained by the Engineering Department
- be flexible to assist any other maintenance colleagues in day to day duties and emergencies as required to the needs of the department
- responsible for ensuring that the supplied uniform is clean and in good repair especially before entering any guest areas, name badges are to be worn on the outer garment
Do you have?
- previous experience within a similar role in a hospitality environment or within another sector
- relevant trade qualifications
- great problem solving skills
- positive and proactive attitude
- ability to work on your own initiative but also as part of the Engineering team
