PositionOverview
The successful candidatewill play a vital role in delivering a comprehensive and engagingScience curriculum to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with thepotential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on expertise.
The roleentails fostering a stimulating and inquirybased learningenvironment that encourages critical thinking scientific curiosityand a deep understanding of the scientificworld.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Designand deliver inspiring Science lessons that align with the nationalcurriculum and the schools high expectations forachievement.
- Create a dynamic classroomatmosphere that promotes student engagement participation and alove of learning.
- Assess and monitor studentprogress providing constructive feedback to facilitate individualgrowth and attainment.
- Collaborate effectivelywith colleagues within the Science department and across the schoolto enrich the learning experience.
- Stay abreastof current pedagogical approaches and developments in Scienceeducation.
Qualificationsand Experience :
- ABachelors degree or higher in a Science subject or a closelyrelated field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)or an equivalent teachingqualification.
- Demonstrated experience teachingScience at the secondarylevel.
