Department : Guest Services
The Langham, London; Europe’s first Grand Hotel and Forbes 5* rated property, is currently recruiting for a Butler to join our talented Langham Club team.
We are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.
In the role of a Butler, your key focus will be to :
- carry out butler duties as required such as packing, unpack and room service
- inspect guest rooms prior to guest arrival as per LHG operating standards
- process check-ins, check-out greeting and rooming VIP guests
- assist with service of food and beverage to Langham Club guests
- establish a strong working relationship with other departments and communicate with the Kitchen, Stewarding, IRD and Housekeeping departments for any special requirements
- deal with guests’ complaints calmly and tactfully and report ALL complaints to your Supervisor or Manager immediately
- personalise and engage with guests at every opportunity
- create an emotional engagement with guests, thus creating exceptional memories
Do you have?
- previous experience in Front Office and F&B; operation (as a Butler or other roles)
- previous experience of Housekeeping and / or Concierge services is preferable
- hospitality degree is desirable
- knowledge of Opera system
- previous experience in a similar environment
- strong interest and passion for food & beverage
- excellent customer service skills; ability to anticipate guest needs and go the extra mile
- immaculate personal presentation
