Job Title : SEN Learning Support Assistant
Location : Hedge End
Salary : £12.82 - £14.72 Per Hour
Start date : Immediate
Contract type : Full Time / Part Time

About the Role :
In this role, you will work closely with students, teachers, and other staff members to provide tailored support to children with additional learning needs.
As an SEN Learning Support Assistant ,
you will play a key part in helping students engage with their learning and succeed both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities Include :
- Supporting students with SEN in the classroom, helping them engage with their lessons.
- Implementing personalised learning strategies to meet each student’s needs.
- Assisting with behavioural management and encouraging positive behaviour.
- Working collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure all students’ needs are met.
Requirements :
- Experience working with SEN students is advantageous.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A patient and understanding attitude towards working with children.
- A flexible approach to working in different classroom settings.

To work with GSL Education as an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you should :
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Please provide an up-to-date CV that covers the past 10 years with gaps not exceeding a month and includes all references from the past 2 years, with employer references from all places worked in the past 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
- Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks;
including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service,
or completing an application for a new check.
