PositionOverview

The successful candidatewill play a key role in inspiring students to explore theircreativity and develop essential design and technological skills.

KeyResponsibilities

- Designand deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons alignedwith the national curriculum and the schools educational visionacross Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Cultivate studentspractical skills and theoretical understanding in areas such asproduct design electronics textiles and foodtechnology.
- Create a stimulating andwellequipped learning environment that encourages experimentationand handson learning.
- Assess and monitorstudent progress providing constructive feedback to supportindividual development.
- Collaborate effectivelywith colleagues within the Design & Technology departmentand across the school to enhance the curriculum and contribute toextracurricularactivities.

Qualificationsand Experience

- ABachelors degree or higher in Design & TechnologyEngineering or a related field.
- QualifiedTeacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teachingqualification.
- Demonstrated experience teachingDesign & Technology at the secondarylevel.
