Transport Administrator
Temp to Perm Contract Immediate Start Available.
£25,000 per year.
Hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Based in Birmingham (B8).
We are recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join a Birmingham-based Transport and Haulage organisation.
We are seeking a candidate with strong Transport experience, who has history of liaising with drivers and planning routes.
The duties of the Transport Administrator will include:
Dealing and liaising with clients and partners over the phone, email and messaging via an internal system.
Booking jobs onto the system.
Tracking and tracing UK freight movements and keeping customers updated with delivery dates and times.
Receiving incoming calls and queries relating to Transport shipments.
Liaising with drivers, partners and other departments.
This role requires a candidate with prior experience in a Transport/Logistics environment, who is confident and able to work as a pivotal member of a busy, fast-paced team.
