Our client, a chemical manufacturer, has an exciting opportunity for a HR Coordinator to join its team.
Job Summary:
Manage payroll, taxes, and benefits for the UK, Dubai, South Africa, with back-up support for India, Germany, and expats. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and provide best-in-class onboarding. Support the HR team with efficient and accurate administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly regional payrolls via third-party providers, ensuring compliance with tax and legal standards.
- Manage tax year-end requirements and benefit updates, ensuring data accuracy.
- Serve as the main contact for payroll and benefit audits, escalating issues and suggesting improvements.
- Maintain relationships with external providers, ensuring they meet service standards.
- Handle HR database management, ensuring compliance with data protection rules.
- Support UK HR with administrative tasks, including onboarding, recruitment, training, and compliance.
- Coordinate wellbeing initiatives, Long Service Awards, and statutory testing.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, Sarbanes-Oxley, and all relevant legislation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Experience administering UK payroll.
- Preferred: Knowledge of international payroll, taxes, and benefits, HR administration experience in a multinational setting.
Skills:
- Strong confidentiality, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of UK payroll, employment taxes, and benefit plans.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
