About us
Pencoedtre High School is a 11-18 truly comprehensive School based on the M4 corridor in Barry, at the start of an amazing journey. The school is part of the Vale of Glamorgan's 21st Century School Strategy Project, benefiting from a purpose built £35 Million new school. The school is a vibrant mix of cultures and backgrounds. We have pupils from the full range of the academic spectrum including Additional Learning Needs, BESD, Hearing Impaired and Autism.

About the Role
Pay Details: Teacher Mainscale + TLR 2b
Description:
Required from 1st January 2025, an enthusiastic and well qualified teacher to lead and manage a range of alternative qualifications and whole school health and wellbeing.
This role involves supporting the development of alternative qualifications include Equality and Diversity, Sweet, Work Skills , and the whole school RWH (Relationships, Wellbeing and Health) programme.
The Leader of Learning must be able to plan and deliver lessons and support other colleagues with the delivery and management of courses across this area which includes all secondary age students and a range of abilities.
