We are looking for an occupational therapist with a passion for community integration to work within Dundonald Day Centre alongside another occupational therapist as part of the integrated community mental health service.

Dundonald offers step down care; a central part of recovery, working with a wide variety of individuals with mental health conditions,





and neurodiversity including autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder who are known to the community mental health team. Ten-week blocks of activity-based groups are offered in the service, promoting inclusion, connection and skill building through meaningful participation. As an OT at Dundonald, you will be a valued member of the team, creating and implementing the group program alongside experienced support workers, and hold a small caseload for individual functional based assessment and intervention. A central part of the role is to liaise with community partners to facilitate longer term meaningful outcomes for people accessing the service for which you will have allocated time.

You will join a dedicated and experienced group of mental health specialist OTs where your professional practice and clinical skills will be fully supported to develop. You will also benefit from working with a range of disciplines including Psychiatry, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, MHO, Peer Support, Physiotherapy,





Speech & Language Therapy and Dietetics and partners from the local voluntary sector.

Currently registered with the HCPC and with a diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy and a strong work ethic. Our commitment to individual supervision and continuing professional development will support you in this specialist role. The hours of work are currently 9am-5pm Monday Friday however this is negotiable for the right candidate
