Role Overview:
As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to students who require additional assistance due to complex physical, emotional, or behavioural needs.
You will play a crucial role in enhancing their learning experience and fostering a positive environment that encourages growth and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and group support to students with complex needs, ensuring they can fully engage with the curriculum.
Develop and implement individualised support strategies in collaboration with teachers and educational staff.
Assist students in managing their emotions, behaviours, and physical challenges, promoting independence and confidence.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment, encouraging students to participate in classroom activities and develop essential life skills.
Monitor student progress and adapt teaching approaches to meet the changing needs of each child.

Requirements:
Experience working with individuals with complex needs, ideally in an educational or care setting.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to build meaningful connections with students and staff.
A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to helping students manage their needs.
A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection, with all applicants required to pass enhanced DBS checks, including being registered on the update service.
