Salary: From £44,838 pro rata / 36 hours per week / 12 month fixed term contract

We are looking for a Grants & Trusts Manager to join our team on a fixed term, full time basis, working 36 hours per week (excluding breaks).

This is an incredible opportunity for someone with demonstrable experience in grants & trusts fundraising, with a track record working with The National Lottery Heritage Fund and/or other similar statutory funders.





The role provides opportunities to visit spectacular heritage sites, engage with English Heritage teams across departments, and build valuable knowledge and expertise of fundraising for the heritage sector.

What's more, as part of our charity bringing history to life, you'll be supported and encouraged to share your ideas, inspire others and make a difference to the way England's rich past is experienced.

As Grants & Trusts Manager, you'll be responsible for securing grants in line with English Heritage's priorities and strategic objectives within conservation, education and public engagement.

You will manage a pool of trust and foundations prospects, and will lead on major applications to The National Lottery Heritage Fund and other statutory funders.







The Grants & Trusts Manager role forms part of a high-performing team of trusts fundraisers, supported by strong prospect research and donor relations functions. You will be self-motivated and capable of using initiative to achieve agreed goals. You'll be confident working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and in managing multiple projects and deadlines.

To be considered as a Grants & Trusts Manager, you will need:

- Demonstrable track record in grants & trusts fundraising, with experience of securing funding of at least £100,000
- Experience of working with The National Lottery Heritage Fund and/or other similar statutory funders
- Experience of working to financial and activity targets






- Experience of managing projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Financial administration experience, including ability to manage complex financial data and spreadsheets
