Role Overview;

We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking IT Support Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will help support our critical banking infrastructure, cloud platforms and enable colleagues to flourish through key collaboration platforms and office productivity solutions, including use of workflows and new AI experiences. As a new Bank, Alba has a legacy free technical environment which will propel future growth and create a state-of-the-art set of solutions to enhance colleague productivity and in turn our customer experience.

You'll be flexible in your approach and comfortable in undertaking a broad range of activities. This means not limiting your time and focus on one element of your role. You will have the opportunity to use the latest Power Platform tools to automate tasks and manage access and data, while maintaining a safe and secure environment utilising latest tools for information and cyber security.

What you’ll do

- Work for a new to market Bank start up that utilises best in class cloud-based technology to support great people in facilitating excellent customer outcomes.
- Provide support to set up role based access to systems and user administration tasks (Joiners/Movers/Leavers). This includes desktop set-up, administration on Teams and Sharepoint to maximise use of these key tools as well as supporting access to the Bank’s third-party SAAS solutions.
- Support ongoing projects to evolve the Bank’s Azure based infrastructure and services using the latest Microsoft tools,





deployment of software updates as well as project management through JIRA. This will include occasional out-of-hours deployments to minimise service downtime
- Active involvement in the Bank’s problem and incident management processes to troubleshoot issues in a timely manner, take corrective action and follow the Bank’s high standards for operational resilience. Provide support as required for out-of-hours incidents.
- Work with the Head of IT and Information Security to evolve help desk capabilities and assist learning opportunities to maximise colleague engagement and use of tools through both formal and informal training sessions and evolution of self-service capabilities.
- Work closely with the Bank’s Managed Service provider to manage change and incidents,





and continually evolve Alba’s cyber defences and monitoring
- Support development and administration of productivity and workflow tools such as PowerAutomate, PowerApps and integration with the Bank’s Data Warehouse solutions.
- Deliver support for presentation and audio visual equipment support.
- Assist the Head of IT with systems monitoring and reporting (including trend reporting) for management forums. Perform daily checks for all key systems and proactively resolve any issues to ensure high systems availability for colleagues and customers.
- Ensure documentation is kept up-to-date in line with changes and is synchronised with the managed service provider
- Following processes and guidelines that fall in line with company policies and standards and FCA / PRA regulations.






- Staying up to date regarding the company’s products, services and policies.

About you

- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer outcomes; able to help us deliver on our purpose of for people, for business and for the communities we work in.

- Minimum 2 years experience as an IT Support Analyst including desktop support and user administration
- Strong knowledge of cloud based environments (Microsoft Azure) including user administration via Microsoft Entra and Intune. Knowledge of Jira also desirable






- Sharepoint administration and tooling desirable including solutions for data management, site configuration and Microsoft Lists
- Knowledge of PowerPlatform (Powershell, PowerAutomate, PowerApps and PowerBI) desirable as well as general workflow automation
- Previous financial services background is preferable.
- The ability to listen and communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders and people from a “non-technical” background to truly understand their requirements, needs and anticipated / desired outcomes. Be an advocate for efficient use of collaboration tools within Microsoft eg co-editing of documents, use of Copilot etc
- A high attention to detail.






- The ability to deal with a varying range of tasks and manage priorities accordingly.
- Proven experience working as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organisational skill.
- Efficient administrative skills.
- Competent numeracy, literacy, and IT skills.
- A proactive attitude, and enthusiastic.
