Job Title: Asbestos Laboratory AnalystLocation: Croydon, Greater LondonSalary/Benefits: £23k - £34k + Training & BenefitsWe are seeking a P401 qualified Asbestos Laboratory Analyst in the South East region. Our Client is a UKAS accredited and well-respected name within the Asbestos industry, who are renowned for offering excellent benefits and further training opportunities. Sevenoaks, Chatham, Romford, Ilford, Grays, Basildon, Enfield, Tilbury, Stanford-le-Hope, Horley, Aylesford, Kingston upon Thames.Experience / Qualifications:- Must hold experience working as an Asbestos Laboratory Analyst within a UKAS accredited outfit- Will have the BOHS P401 qualification- Experience participating with AIMS and Quality Assurance procedures- Strong written ability and proficient with IT applications- Keen eye for detail and organised mannerThe Role:- Undertaking the Bulk Analysis of samples which are suspected Asbestos Containing Materials- Using PLM and stereo microscopy methods to analyse samples- Maintaining the laboratory and working areas to a high standard- Logging and handling samples- Working in accordance with HSG 248 and UKAS- Updating internal databases and maintaining accurate recordsAlternative job titles: Asbestos Bulk Analyst, Asbestos Lab Technician,
