A FTSE 250 plc with a head office in central London is recruiting a Head of Internal Audit on an initial 8 month fixed term contract to start as soon as possible.Reporting to the Director of Internal Audit and managing a team of Internal Auditors the key deliverables of the role include:-

- Lead the Internal Audit team and manage the delivery of audits across the business.
- Agree scope of work for audits with management that address key risks and controls to be reviewed
- Ensure audits are conducted on time and in accordance with the audit plan
- Present and discuss identified issues and risks and provide recommendations for improvements as well as ensuring remediation action plans are implemented and monitored






- Management and development of the team

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised accountancy / audit qualification and have experience working within complex multi-site organisations.The role is head office based at least 2 days a week with regular travel across the UK as required.You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.Due to the high volume of applications we receive it is not always possible to respond to unsuccessful applicants.
