TeacherActive is proud to be working with a children’s residential provider in Hucknall who are on the hunt for a passionate and dedicated SEND Support Worker/ Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Support Worker. This is a mainstream Primary School looking for a full time support worker to support a child with their mobility and personal care.
We are looking for a SEND Support Worker/ Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Support Worker to work on a full-time basis with a 2 on 4 off shift pattern. This primary school adopts an ethos that is child focused, while understanding that children will thrive when they feel safe and secure. A focus on providing consistency and continuity,
ensuring at all times that children’s wishes are heard and respected.
The successful SEND Support Worker/ Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Support Worker will have:
Experience of working to therapeutic models such as P.A.C.E
Level 3 or above in Children and Young Peoples Workforce or the willingness to work towards this
Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviours or trauma
‘Can-do’ attitude
Flexibility with shifts
Be 22 years old or over
