This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Art and Technology specialist to provide technical support for a busy team of teachers delivering Art & Technology (Art, Food and Design and Technology).
- Reports to the Curriculum Manager for Arts and Technology.
- Responsibility for other technician team members across the department.
- Preparation of resources across all three disciplines Art, Food Technology and Design and Technology.
- In-class support where required across all disciplines.
- Responsibility for displays and support with promotional materials for open days,
Arts Week and any external events.
- Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the classrooms and prep rooms for Art, Food and Design and Technology.
- Responsible for ensuring health and safety standards are maintained including : risk assessments, incident reporting and maintenance of all machinery and equipment.
- Previous technical experience and / or training in Food & Nutrition or D&T; desirable (We can provide statutory training if / where required).
