Are you a passionate and inspiring Design and Technology (DT) educator with a specialism in Resistant Materials?
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified teacher to join a thriving and well-resourced DT department in a successful and ambitious 11-18 school in Hounslow, West London.
About the Role :
- Teach Resistant Materials at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
- Develop and deliver engaging and practical lessons that foster creativity, problem-solving skills,
and a love for design
- Create a stimulating learning environment that promotes a 'can-do' attitude and celebrates innovation
- Contribute to the wider DT curriculum and departmental planning
- Play a key role in ensuring all students achieve their full potential
- Pastoral responsibilities for a designated form group (optional)
You will be :
- A qualified teacher with a specialism in Resistant Materials (DT)
- An engaging and enthusiastic educator with a proven track record of success
- Possess excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young minds
- Adept at delivering practical lessons in a well-equipped workshop environment
- A strong advocate for Health and Safety procedures within the workshop
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment
- Committed to ongoing professional development
