Job Title : SEN Tutor

Job Duties :
- Provide tailored support and guidance to students with special educational needs (SEN)
- Create individualised learning plans based on students' specific requirements
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' academic progress
- Monitor and assess students' progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
Required Qualifications :
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Strong understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support SEN students
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in SEN teaching
Knowledge and Skills :
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Knowledge of relevant SEN legislation and best practises
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications :
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs
- Additional training in specific SEN areas (e.g., autism, dyslexia)
Working Conditions :
Part-Time hours, flexible schedule, working closely with students and other education professionals in a classroom setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
