We're partnering with a leading sixth form college in London seeking a full-time, permanent geography teacher to join their esteemed department.
About the Role :
- Develop and deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned geography lessons for A-Level students.
- Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking, research skills, and a passion for global exploration.
- Play a key role in shaping the A-Level geography curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the highest educational standards.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow humanities teachers to provide a cohesive and enriching learning experience for students.
You'll be a perfect fit if you :
- Possess a relevant teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE) and demonstrable experience in teaching geography at A-Level.
- Are passionate about geography and have a talent for making it relevant and engaging for young adults.
- Have a strong understanding of the UK A-Level specifications for geography.
- Enjoy incorporating a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Are an excellent communicator with a genuine enthusiasm for inspiring young minds.
