Are you looking to kick-start your criminology career?
Do you want to see how you can make a difference to the younger generation?
A vibrant, exciting school in Wheatley has an opportunity for a recent graduate to join their support staff and work as a Behaviour Mentor, providing the children with consistency and guidance when facing behaviour challenges and making the right decisions.
While working as a Behaviour Mentor you will have access to the school’s abundance of local resources to ensure students achieve high levels of personal progress.
Students at this school benefit from 1-1 guidance and support,
helping them to regulate their thoughts and process their emotions in a healthy manner.
The role’s main responsibilities will include working alongside class teachers to ensue students are receiving tailored education, staying focused and on task throughout the school day, facilitating therapeutic methods and identifying potential triggers for the students.
Criminology graduates will see how preventative measures, teaching self-regulation and helping students navigate challenging situations can help them stay away from the criminal justice system.
The role of Behaviour Mentor will be rewarding to any criminology graduate due to the guidance and advice from qualified behaviour analysts, psychologists and aspirational therapists on site.
