Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging computer science lessons to Primary / Secondary school students.
- Develop and implement challenging and differentiated curriculum to meet the needs of individual students.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to promote active learning and student engagement.
- Assess students' progress and provide timely feedback to support their ongoing development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of students' achievements, attendance, and behaviour.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences.
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status, with a specialization in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience teaching computer science to Primary / Secondary students.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and relevant educational standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Passion for computer science education and a commitment to staying updated with emerging trends and technologies.
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
