PositionOverview :
The successful candidatewill be instrumental in delivering a comprehensive and engagingDrama curriculum to students across Key Stages 3 4 and potentially5.
The role entails fostering a creative and collaborative learningenvironment that encourages selfexpression confidencebuilding andan appreciation for the performingarts.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Designand deliver captivating Drama lessons that align with the nationalcurriculum and the schools educationalethos.
- Create a stimulating and supportiveclassroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement andparticipation.
- Direct and facilitate studentproductions and performances nurturing their talent and providingopportunities for showcasing theirskills.
- Assess and monitor student progressproviding constructive feedback to facilitate individualgrowth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagueswithin the Arts department and across the school to enrich thelearning experience.
- Stay abreast of currentpedagogical approaches and developments in Dramaeducation.
Qualificationsand Experience :
- ABachelors degree or higher in Drama Theatre Studies or a relatedfield.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or anequivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstratedexperience teaching Drama at the secondarylevel.
