They are seeking a skilled and enthusiasticDesign & Technology Teacher to join their faculty in afulltime permanentposition.
PositionSummary
The successful candidatewill have the opportunity to inspire students and equip them withessential design and technological skills for the future. This roleinvolves :
- Designing and deliveringengaging Design & Technology lessons aligned with thenational curriculum across Key Stages 3 and4.
- Cultivating students creativityproblemsolving abilities and practical skills through handsonprojects and workshops.
- Assessing studentprogress providing constructive feedback and implementingpersonalized learning strategies to support individualneeds.
- Collaborating with colleagues within thedepartment and wider school community to enhance the Design& Technology curriculum and extracurricularactivities.
Qualifications&Experience; :
- Bachelorsdegree or higher in Design & Technology Engineering or arelated field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)or equivalent teaching certification.
- Provenexperience teaching Design & Technology at the secondarylevel ideally across Key Stages 3 and4.
IdealCandidate :
- Passionateabout Design & Technology and its realworld applicationswith a strong commitment to studentsuccess.
- Possesses excellent communicationinterpersonal and organizationalskills.
- Ability to work collaboratively andindependently demonstrating initiative andadaptability.
- Knowledge and experience in arange of Design & Technology specialisms (e.g.
resistantmaterials product design textileselectronics).
