We’re looking for a proactive Executive Assistant to support our UK Managing Director, helping us manage schedules, coordinate events, and engage with clients and partners as we support the next generation of change-makers.

The Role
As the Executive Assistant to the Managing Director of Standard Ledger UK,
you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
Your responsibilities will include managing schedules, setting up meetings with clients and partners, and following up on tasks to keep everything on track.
You’ll also coordinate events, manage post-event follow-ups, monitor social channels for engagements, and help with content posting as needed.
This is a part-time role with flexible hours, spread across three days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Calendar & Schedule Management : Organise the Managing Director’s calendar, setting up meetings with clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Event Coordination : Plan and coordinate client and partner events, including setting up online events and liaising with venues and vendors for in-person gatherings.
- Post-Event Follow-Ups : Manage follow-ups after events through HubSpot workflows and personalised outreach, ensuring participants stay engaged and opportunities are maximised.
- Meeting Coordination : Arrange and confirm client and partner meetings,
ensuring clear communication and follow-ups.
- Content Posting & Social Media Engagement : Post updates and monitor social media channels, ensuring timely engagement and responses.
Stakeholder Engagement : Assist in maintaining relationships with accelerators, venture capitalists, and key partners, ensuring smooth communication and follow-through.
Requirements
You’re an organised, detail-oriented professional with 1-2 years of experience as an executive assistant or in a similar administrative role.
You have a knack for managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and following up after events to maintain strong client and partner relationships.
You’re proactive, flexible, and can work independently, always staying ahead of the game. Ideally,
you’re based in the United Kingdom and comfortable working remotely.
Extra Points for :
- Experience with startups or venture capital firms
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- A strong understanding of Eventbrite for setting up and managing events
- Experience with HubSpot for post-event follow-ups and managing personalised outreach workflows
