Job Opportunity
- Regularly patrol designated areas to detect and deter suspicious activity, ensuring all areas are secure and adhering to established security protocols
- Conduct thorough cab and body searches in accordance with company policies and procedures to prevent unauthorised items from entering restricted areas
- Perform meticulous baggage searches to identify and remove any prohibited or suspicious items, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork related to security incidents, observations and actions taken during shifts, ensuring all documentation is detailed and organised
- Effectively communicate with colleagues, supervisors and relevant stakeholders to report incidents, share information and coordinate responses to security-related issues
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors and guests, assisting with inquiries, directions and any security-related concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Essential Skills
- SIA Licence
- Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
- RTW and 5yr history including education and / or employment
- Flexible to work early and late shifts and working nights and weekends
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate - Written and verbal
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to physically carry out body and cab searches, including climbing into and out of a lorry cab
