Category Manager FMCG
Salary £45-55,000 + benefits
London Office 2 days a week
We are working with a fantastic FMCG brand with a strong market presence in their category and have plans to double the size of their European office in the next 5 years.
They are looking for a Category Manager to lead the Category team, consisting currently of 4 direct reports.
The most suitable candidate will have strong experience in FMCG Category Management, will have team management experience.
Key responsibilities :
- Create and oversee the Category Strategy Development plan, looking at areas for growth and consider potential risks.
- Work on Product development from concept to launch.
- Alongside the broader team,
plan and manage the market intelligence to understand the consumer preferences and landscape.
- Work with the Brand and Marketing team to develop marketing campaigns and promotions for new products.
- Work with the Sales team to implement plans and promotional activities.
Key skills required :
- Currently working as Category Manager.
- Team Management experience.
- FMCG experience.
- Strong communication and relationships skills.
- Analytically minded.
- Strong influencing skills.
