Amazon Shipping is looking to hire an experienced Senior Manager in the Shipper Management Team to work closely with our shippers to prospect, scope and lead the delivery of initiatives aiming to improve shipper experience and enhance operational synergies with our shippers.
You will be a natural self-starter who is able to translate the long-term vision for Amazon Shipping into a strategic and tactical action plans for the business and multiple middle and last mile EU Ops teams.
This position is based out of our London Corporate Office, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week in line with Amazon’s current flexible work guidance.

Key job responsibilities
- Act as a strategic advocate and influencer, collaborating closely with shippers, cross-functional partner teams and key stakeholders.
- Improve critical operational metrics by designing and implementing new processes and partnerships with the Business, Product, and Operations teams.
- Develop structural plans and routines to ensure all strategic and tactical initiatives are delivered on schedule and to the expected standards.

You will help design and shape processes, practices, engaging and influencing multiple Ops stakeholders to build a shipping service provider which our customers love.
You will have a proactive approach, understanding of operations,
solid leadership skills and the ability to build and leverage relationships across a wide range of stakeholders As this position involves regular interaction with senior leadership, you need to be comfortable communicating robustly at that level whilst also working directly with various functional teams and team members at all levels of the organization across the Amazon business.
About the team
Amazon Shipping offers Amazon’s delivery capabilities as a product and service. Amazon Shipping’s first customers are sellers in the EU, offering to ship their domestic volume using our delivery network.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree
- Relevant experience in the shipping / logistics industry, particularly with shipping service providers or global freight forwarding
- Relevant experience of communicating and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership
- Experience establishing repeatable processes and driving automation / standardization initiatives
- Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant experience owning end-to-end program strategy and delivery
- Experience interacting with and presenting to C-suite and senior executives
- Six Sigma certification or equivalent structured problem-solving training
- Relevant experience in managing programmes or projects
