About the Role

- Develop engaging and stimulating lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and encourage critical thinking.
- Play a key role in shaping the Design and Technology curriculum, ensuring it aligns with national standards and prepares students for success.
- Deliver high-quality instruction across the full spectrum of Design and Technology,
utilizing a range of materials, tools, and techniques.
- Contribute to a dynamic and supportive department, collaborating with colleagues to deliver outstanding Design and Technology education.
- Utilize well-equipped workshops and resources effectively to create a stimulating learning environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and enhance teaching skills.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification in Design and Technology.
- A minimum of two years' successful experience teaching Design and Technology at the secondary level, preferably within a boys' school environment.
- A strong passion for Design and Technology with a broad knowledge of design principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- The ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
- A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment that celebrates creativity and innovation.
