Grade E : £24,244 per annum National Framework) or £29,646 (London Framework if you areLondon office based or homebased and live within the boundary of the M25) There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £553 per annum for thoseworking from home.

Asour Research and Insight Analyst,
you will play a key role in helping todeliver this goal by :
Analysing insight from local Healthwatch to identify themes
Undertaking straightforward primary research projects to influence service and system change as part of a project team
Assisting our network to undertake high quality research and engagement with people to understand what matters most to them.
Assisting Healthwatch England colleagues undertake straightforward business insight projects

Accountabilities :
The main functions the post holderwill undertake are :
Receiving information from theHealthwatch network, cleaning and cataloguing the data
Beinginvolved in horizon scanning activities to help identify and maximiseopportunities for sharing Healthwatch insight and influencing health and socialcare decision makers.
Identifyingand escalating any health and care issues based on agreed prioritisationcriteria.
Ensuringthat information security requirements are upheld.
Developingand maintaining relationships with information providers and recipients, namelythe local Healthwatch network and Healthwatch England stakeholders.
Analysingand writing up data for insight reports, blogs and briefings
Ensuringthat the right people can access the information they need and that it isdisseminated where appropriate in a timely manner.
Assistingin the development of user requirements for IT systems, specifically supportingthe ongoing development of the digital systems to receive, store and retrieveinsight.
Sustainingand adapting insight systems where relevant and appropriate.
Supportingthe delivery of straightforward policy research and business insight work.Working with / alongside Healthwatch
England and Network colleagues you willdevelop methodologies, promote research and analyse the results.
Assistproject teams with more complex policy research and business insight work whereappropriate. Contributing to backgroundresearch and production of data visualisations of the results, with supportfrom project leads.
Providingadvice and support to local Healthwatch on how to undertake research via theHealthwatch England Research Helpdesk and research clinics
Organisingnetwork meetings, including advertising meetings, arranging speakers, drawingup agendas and taking minutes.
Assistingwith developing and delivering webinars to the network.
Providingadministration and coordination for the Research and Insight Team facilitating travel, arranging meeting and other support activities.
Uploadingreports to the National Reports Library and supporting local Healthwatch toupload their own reports to the library.
Arrangingresearch clinics and other activities to support the network.
Specific Skills and Experience
Ability toanalyse quantitative and qualitative data
Ability toplan and undertake primary research involving mixed methods
Ability tothink logically and solve data problems, working through errors to reach aresolution.
Ability toprocess, interpret and present complex information in an easily understoodaccessible format, within tight deadlines.
Excellentattention to detail and a high level of accuracy and consistency in recording,inputting, and coding data.
Ability tomanage confidential information appropriately.
Ability tomanage competing priorities in a fast-paced changing environment, reacting andmake recommendations in response to changing circumstances.
Ademonstrable interest in health and social care policy
Advanceduser capabilities in MS Excel or equivalent program.
Excellentverbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicateeffectively and clearly with colleagues and stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively andcollaboratively with colleagues across an organisation to achieve sharedobjectives
