Job description
Igloo are on the lookout for Strip Fitter / Preppers to join our clients team in Southampton. This role provides successful candidates with the chance to work for one of the UK's leading automotive companies with a nationwide presence.
The Role :
Within this role you will be working on, but not limited to :
- Stripping down and prepping vehicles ready for panel repair and painting.
- Removing all electrical and mechanical trim.
- Re-fitting all trim after painting ready for the vehicle to be polished.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety obligations at all times.
What kind of person we are looking for?
- Previous experience within a similar role is essential.
- You will need to work efficiently but to a high standard.
- Must have your own tools.
- Hold a full, category B driving license, with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
- Organisational skills.
- Must be able to work well within a team.
