About the role :
Our community pharmacies play a key part in caring for the health and wellbeing of our customers. As a Relief Pharmacy Services Assistant, you’ll be joining an enthusiastic and hardworking team of colleagues that work together to make a positive difference to the lives of their patients.
You'll have the opportunity to work in a number of different branches across central Lincoln and the surrounding villages.
From working the counter to keeping the shelves stocked and ready for customers, there is a wide range of duties for you to be involved in, such as :
- Delivering exceptional customer service, providing health advice and services to our patients through engaging conversations.
- Ensuring that every customer leaves the pharmacy feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs
- Keeping the shop floor fully stocked and ready for customers through accepting and working deliveries and completing stock takes
- Delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary, allowing and ensuring the safe supply of medicines. This could be through ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, and supporting the collection of prescriptions
- Assisting with sales and general store duties including creating product displays and cash transactions
About You
It isn’t just about experience or knowledge; we’re looking for people with a genuine passion for customer service and who will be ambassadors for healthcare in our pharmacies.
To be successful in joining our team, you’ll need to show us :
- A natural ability to build meaningful relationships with both patients and colleagues
- An upbeat, caring, and confident manner when serving and advising patients
- An enthusiasm and talent for problem solving, eager to take on new challenges and experiences
- A methodical and accurate approach to practical tasks, using your own initiative and teamwork skills to aid you
- Experience of working in a retail background and using a stock control system would be desirable but not essential as full training is provided
- As travel will be required within this role, you will need to hold a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use For this role,
we’re looking for someone who already has their Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant qualification or higher.
