Associate Director - Quantity Surveyor - Healthcare
Construction Consultancy
London - £85k to £95k plus package
My client is seeking an experienced and talented Associate Director Quantity Surveyor to join their industry-leading healthcare team.
This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key role on major healthcare construction projects for their prestigious client base of hospitals, medical facilities, and pharmaceutical companies.
Responsibilities :
- Lead quantity surveying services from design through to project completion on large-scale healthcare projects
- Prepare cost estimates, value engineering studies,
life cycle costing, and contract documentation
- Conduct risk and value management assessments
- Negotiate contracts and finalize accounts with contractors
- Oversee measurement and valuation of construction works
- Manage project QS teams to ensure adherence to program, quality, and budgetary goals
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
Requirements :
- Minimum 5 years of quantity surveying experience, with significant healthcare project exposure
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related construction field
- Excellent commercial management, negotiation and client handling skills
- Proven track record of leadership on major construction projects over £50 million
- Professional accreditation such as RICS or CIOB membership
- Strong communication abilities to liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders
- High degree of motivation, with ability to work independently and as part of team
