Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging French language lessons to primary and secondary students following the school's curriculum
- Create and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students
- Develop and maintain a positive learning environment that promotes student participation and success
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the design and evaluation of the French curriculum
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school events as required
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the French language and culture
- Proven experience teaching French at primary and / or secondary levels
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism and commitment to the teaching profession
- Familiarity with UK curriculum standards and assessment practices
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues
