We're partnering with a prestigious all-girls school in Ealing seeking a passionate KS3 & KS4 Music teacher to join their thriving department.
About the Role :
- Develop and deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned music lessons for students in KS3 and KS4 (specific year groups to be confirmed).
- Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages musical exploration, performance skills, and a love for music in all its forms.
- Play a key role in developing and maintaining the music curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the latest educational standards.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues in the arts department to provide a well-rounded learning experience for students.
- Contribute to the school's extracurricular music program by leading ensembles, choirs, or other musical activities (details on request).
You'll be a perfect fit if you :
- Possess a relevant teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE) and demonstrable experience in teaching music at KS3 and KS4.
- Are passionate about music and have a talent for making it accessible and engaging for students of all abilities.
- Have a strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Music (KS3 & KS4).
- Enjoy incorporating a variety of teaching methods, including performance, composition, and music theory,
to cater to different learning styles.
- Are an excellent communicator with a genuine enthusiasm for inspiring young women to discover their musical potential.
